no, I wouldn't recommend jim clain. he didn't finish all the work, didn't do a good job, and left a lot of detail work to be done. he kept saying he would finish the work over two months after main part of job was done, but wouldn't show up, or call when he said he would. when asked to use precautions because of my allergies, he just rolled his eyes and did what he wanted, even when these allergies could of sent me to the hospital, ( I had 2 previous chemical inhalation injuries that sent me to hospital before, which I showed him paperwork on, before he started project). at one point he put in new windows and left a space (a hole about 4 ft x 1 ft.) in the wall uncovered in my living room for months. he measured the hole under the window, but he measured it wrong, and put a board too short to cover the hole there. said he would buy another piece of wood that Thursday. a month later he brought a long piece of manufactured wood and left it outside in the carport. told me to have another contractor cut, paint, and install it. no, I wouldn't recommend him! I have pics of the work he did to prove what i'm saying.
