  Driveway fill cracks & seal

  $1,600

  John Jennings (JJ Asphalt) promised to re-do the horrible seal coating job that he and his father applied to our driveway in 2023, but never showed up after multiple appointment dates that he set and we agreed on. The coating material he and his father used never cured and created a mess in our garage. Another driveway seal coat company said that it looked like they used old motor oil to "seal" the driveway. He took our $1600, lied to us over and over and ruined our driveway.
  This happened in 2023 and early 2024, so I do not understand how John Jennings is still being allowed to continue to work in NM. He should be held accountable and give people their money back. He scammed us and obviously many others. Also, good luck finding out where his "business" is located because the location he claims on Sudderth Dr in Ruidoso is a Carniceria.

  Seal driveway and fill cracks in driveway asphalt.

  I hired John Jennings’s “Asphalt Seal Coating” company to fill our driveway cracks and put a coating over the asphalt at our home in Alamogordo. The job was done 2/10/2022. The cracks were poorly filled and totally opened up within three days. As of today (5/31/2022), I have called John Jennings 8 times (and also called/texted his worker, Danny, three times), and every time was promised they’d be out soon to complete the job correctly, but they have not done so. They talk like they are honorable and trustworthy, but I have yet to see that! I would highly recommend against using this company!!

  Reseal driveway

  $800

  A year ago I hired this company based on their long history in the business. The son of the owner, John Jennings, convinced me that this company was the best asphalt company in Ruidoso. I hired him to seal our asphalt driveway. He told me the company gave a 5 year warranty that the existing cracks would not open up. Well, after the guy he sent out did the job, cracks started opening up within the month. He sent the guy out again and he put something over the cracks, but within 2 more months, all the cracks opened up and the driveway did not look any better than before I gave him $800 to do the job. We left Ruidoso for the winter. When we returned this May, we contacted John Jennings, the owner. He came out on May 20, 2021 and said he would be back to repair the cracks. He never called within 2 weeks, so I called him, he had to get the products and he would call me. He never called back and he won't answer my calls. I contacted the BBB and they tried to contact him, talking to him only one time and he refused to answer their questions. This is a HORRIBLE company.

  Driveway

  They ripped me off, promised 5 year warranty and when the job was finished, cracks developed right away. I called them and they won’t call me back. Terrible service, and he lied to me!
