I scheduled the service earlier this week and explained that I needed a ring light installed and needed them to fix a switch. The tech was an hour behind schedule, which is understandable, but communication was not there. The price was good, so I thought I’d keep it and work with them.
The flood light was installed, however, the tech did not know how to wire the switch. He said he was an HVAC guy, but why he’s installing other lights and electrical work but can’t fix a switch. He said someone more advanced in electrical work would need to come fix the switch. I paid $89 for switch the flood light.
I reach back out to get an estimate for the switch and he’s charging a service fee charge of $59. It’s not my fault the original service tech couldn’t fix the switch and has to send someone out. Why I’m being charged twice, for something that should have been done once, has me pretty aggravated. Just beware that the owner will blame you for him sending out an HVAC guy instead of a guy that fixes electrical issues. You know, the reason I inquired about.
Additionally, the owner of the company has been arguing with me via messenger about my review. Initially he advised that the person that was suppose to come out had a personal issue and could not make it. That is why he sent his HVAC guy out. He then said it’s hard to have his employees work on Sundays. I’m not sure why this all is my fault, but I feel the lack of customer service is being blamed on me.
He continues to argue that his HVAC guy was qualified, and my switch did not have a diagram. He also said that the switch is a liability. He advised that just because his employee said someone would come out tomorrow does not mean there would not be a regular service fee. I don’t expect the work to be free, however, it should only be a few more dollars. Not a completely new service fee for them having to come back out
Business owner is now threatening me with an attorney for leaving this review and continues to message me after being told to stop. He has told me if I don’t remove the review he will seek legal action. I’ve explained to him several times why the review was left and it has not stopped.
