Dylan is very personable, likeable. He offered me a deal to recoat my driveway with an oil-based sealer. He sprayed two coats. It was in the evening that he sprayed the first coat. He felt he may have missed some spots. He had. Before spraying the second coat a couple of days later, I pointed out to him areas that he missed or that were unevenly coated. I watched him spray the second coat. Afterwards, I told him that some areas where not adequately sprayed. He said that after the coating dried, it would look different. Two days later, it didn't. He did not respond to my emails. I had paid him cash.

Be warned never hire Dylan Miller or Dylan's Paving & Sealcoating. I don't know how BuildZoom has this contractor on its site or how it has a 97 BZ score. Dylan Miller is a Liar and a Thief. On July 31, 2024, I signed an agreement and gave a 50% down payment for contractor to do concrete resurfacing on steps and walkway. The one-day job was scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd. I was contacted by Dylan on Saturday and was told job needed to be rescheduled for Monday due to weather. On Monday, August 5th the day the job was to be done, I received a call from a person claiming to be Dylan's dad and he stated that his son's quote was under bid, and he couldn't do the job at the price on the agreement. The person then stated he could give me another quote or refund my down payment. I requested for my money to be refunded. I contacted Dylan he apologized and said he was mailing me a refund check on Monday, August 3rd. I contacted Dylan a week later and informed him that I haven't received the check. Dylan sent a text on Monday, August 12th, that he would bring my refund to my house on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Needless to say, Dylan never showed up, and never mailed a refund check.
I will be filing a police report and a complaint with the PA Attorney General's office.
