JM Williams contractors demolished a burned down townhouse next door to me in my neighborhood in February 2016. During the demolition, the backhoe driver was throwing the concrete in the bin so hard that it was shaking my townhouse. I told the operator about the shaking and responded with he couldn't do anything about the noise. I repeated about my concern with my house shaking for 2 days. After my intervention, he was more careful. However, I eventually found damage to my townhouse that wasn't there before, like cracks in the front hall and kitchen walls, a long crack in the brick exterior in the front of the house, and my driveway that widened the cracks in it. I called the office and to my surprise was given to the owner of the burned down townhouse to speak with. He was also employed there. He was rude to me and refused to address the issue and hung the phone up on me. I then sent a certified letter to the company and it was returned, unopened after a couple of weeks. I had my insurance company out to look at it but was told they didn't
cover structural damage. I find this company's attitude to be despicable for not owning up to the damage they caused.
