JMS Roofing replaced my roof in 2013. No problem. I had a roof leak after IRMA and since my roof is under warranty, I called the company to come inspect the roof. Two guys came out while it was raining. George spent about 5 minutes total looking at the roof and pronounced a limb had poked a hole in the roof. He went back to the truck and climbed back up and put a piece of metal under the shingle and said they would have to come back when it wasn't raining. I asked him to look at hole in the the roof in the garage and shop and that took maybe 10 minutes. George said someone would call with estimate of materials and labor. About a week later, office called to say they were ready to come repair. I said I had been waiting to hear about an estimate. They didn't know what it would cost! Never heard of a company not even being able to quote a price. Very vague... didn't know how long the repairs would take, etc. Called me back again with what I felt was an outragious estimate. I said I would have to think about and check around. A week later I get a bill for $250 for an emergency repair! What repair? The roof is still not fixed. The office said George put a piece of metal up to keep my roof from rotting - for $250??? Then she tells me that they start charging when the left the office and returned. No one told me about any costs involved to look at a roof they installed and is under warranty. Other roofing companies offer estimates for free. Will never use JMS Roofing again. They don't seem to know what they are doing when they can't even give you a reasonable quote for time spent and certainly not above board about their charging for traveling time. Very disassatified.
