I can't even get them to show up and I paid my deductible all ready and I'm sure they have been paid. They don't want this customer to show up to there offices that don't exist. They run this company out of a residential neighborhood And be careful with Alchemist they are just as big of thieves doing the exact same thing using old parts

By Victor B.September 26, 2020Repair Filtration System, Pool Heater & Blower Motor$3,000
I have AHS warranty, filtration system and my pool heater was not working, so I set up service with AHS in Aug 2020, they sent JnJ Pool, JnJ Tch called me and told me that pool filter grid is bad, and not covered by AHS, so I paid $250 on top my deductable to repair filtration. Next day they went to fix the heater, and I was told the heater has been fixed. It worked for a day and stopped working. I called AHS again, they sent JnJ Pool, this time JnJ pool told AHS, that, Heater is not covered because, heat exchanger is abused and has chemical spot on it. While leaving JnJ Pool Tech had disconnected power to heater. Next day I inspected the heat exchanger personally, and noticed there was no abuse or any sign of chemical spill, JnJ Pool were lying, so I called AHS and demanded 2nd opinion. AHS sent Alchemist Pool to repair the heater, Alchemist Pool will not repair the heater because JnJ Pool Tech had disconnected power, after 1 week of arguments with AHS, finally AHS told JnJ Pool to go back and reconnect the power, which they did, and Alchemist pool Tech was able to turn the heater ON. but it shuts off in 20 minutes, it has been 7 weeks and I am still working with AHS in getting this repaired correctly. If you have pool problem, NEVER approve repair by JnJ Pool, they are dishonest and liar. My Filtration which JnJ Pool fixed is still having problem and not working. It has been nightmare dealing with JnJ Pool.

By CharlesAugust 20, 2020Repair Pool Pump Leaking
Stay away from J & J Pool Service, they use USED parts, paint them, and call them "refurbished"! American Home Shield sent J & J out to repair my pool pump which was leaking water. Tech came out and diagnosed the problem, said would have to come back out with pump housing. Tech came back out, replaced pump housing, only to have replacement housing leak. Tech said would have to schedule to come back out with another pump housing. Tech came back out again with another housing that was clearly used. I questioned him about the part being used, and he said I could "upgrade" to a new pump housing if I wanted for an additional charge, (which is more than I could purchase the part for new myself). I told him I would contact American Home Shield. I read my contract with AHS and it states they reserve the right to install rebuilt parts, so I contacted AHS and told them how J & J is using old parts, and just painting them on the outside. They agreed used parts are not to be used, and called J & J. J & J's response is the part is "refurbished", not used. I talked with another Pool Service Company which told me the pool pump housing can not be rebuilt because it is a plastic part! Simply painting a part to make it "look new" on the outside is not rebuilding a part!
Decide for yourself if you can trust a company that does business like this to take care of your pool! -

The exact same thing that Roberta stated happened to us, but with a pool pump. I'm guessing they get x amount of dollars from AHS and then try to do everything as cheaply as possible. AWFUL COMPANY. Don't use under any circumstance. Do it yourself before using them.

JNJ Pools is the worst company ever, I used them to replace my pool heater because they came out because I have American Home Shield (AHS) I paid the $125.00 service fee and even though their commercial says that they will fix it, don’t believe them, they will always have an excuse that it’s not covered, so I paid JNJ Pools almost $3,000 to replace my pool heater and since it’s been over a month they will not come out and tighten the pipe that’s dripping due to their technician not tightening it when he installed it and they want me to pay AHS another $125 service call and maybe they will reimburse me $40.00!! You would think that with businesses closing due to COVID, it would take the technician a few minutes to fix it to make me happy, but I guess that they don’t care about good customer service!! DO NOT use JNJ Pools, worst company ever!! I wish that I could give them a minus 5 stars, but if I didn’t give them 1 star, I couldn’t submit my review!!

Do Not Use this company. They are terrible. Will not tell you what they did to fix pool, won't sent a ticket explaining what they did. I am not sure they ever showed up. Will not return calls. Went through AHS which is just as bad and they don't care. Jackie P. 10/6/2021
