Seek transparency with this one. Charged us 35percent markup on the engineers work. Ending up paying about 10 grand for just the demo because he had somehow burned through the cash and came back looking for more. Check his history and don’t let his sad story convince you that anything has changed. Get everything in writing early and don’t let them start any work until you get signed paperwork. Or better yet, find a legit contractor.

JNS CONSTRUCTION is under investigation by the Abilene Police Department Fraud Unit. RJ (Ruben) Flores, Jr is a con artist. He gives quotes, collects HALF to start and then doubles the quote within days. Does very little of the actual work. Build Zoom evidently doesn't check out contractors as they advertise. JNS worked less than 5 hours on my job and I was out $4775. Others I contacted lost between $25k and $100k.
