In our policies/procedures sheets which you sign before allowing us to work for you, it describes that because we are a mom and pop co., we can't afford cancelations at the last minute. We require 72 hrs. notice in writing so that we have time to fill your time slot with another customer. The p/p also states that we charge the labor portion of the estimate if we show up for the scheduled appointment and no one is there to let us in to work. We charged you for the labor, as is in writing, and you paid us. You were even gracious about it. We are not "money-hungry", we can't afford to lose money. It was an unfortunate event. 3 years ago Dan Wrote this one week after we did the work for him. "Mike has completed several jobs at my house. He's very knowledgeable in completing all tasks performed and his prices were ALWAYS Fair. Mike does great work and we will continue to utilize him as our NUMBER ONE HANDYMAN IN THE AREA!!!" ???

I've known Mike for five years and he has completed several job at my house. However, his wife is in charge of all of the appointments and other tasks within. She was a very difficult person to deal with. She has been UNPROFESSIONAL many of times and appeared MONEY HUNGRY. I had to terminate our business relationship and look ELSEWHERE for a good handyman service.
