  re pointing and reconstructing my Chimney

  I am just sorry, I did not read these comments before, I hired him to repoint/ reconstruct my chimney. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing. This man charged me 800 to climb up a ladder and plaster cement all over my original stone, no reconstruction or pointing was ever done... and then had the nerve to tell me he repaired and pointed it as stated in the contract. He became arrogant and disrespectful when I express my disappointment in his tacky unprofessional work. The worse experience I have ever had with a contractor. I only went with him ( hiring) after getting 3 estimates because he seemed knowledgable, his price was fair and he was a black man and I thought to give him a chance. Worse misjudgment I've ever made. After finding this site and reading the experience of others, all I can do is find someone to undo his cement job fix my chimney properly and take the rest of this up with Better Business Bureau... and small claims court.

  My experience with Jocasha Ja Ben Samuel work was horrible. It was in my best interest to choose someone else. I gave him a chance. It did not work out. He is not concerned with completing a job. He only wants money and after he gets money he slacks off.

  My project was never completed. He started thinking of other things you need done. He wants things done his way. So nothing gets completed. If a person has time and dinero it's different but not right. But the average person cannot do this if they are on a budget and time constraints ike most of us are. It turns into an argument or an attitude which is something that is not needed. Leave this company alone. Buyer beware or company be ware!!!!!!!!! He is a piece of work and.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I have hired contractors in the past and never had a bad experience like this once. He did not finish the work but expected to be paid. Simply the most arrogant and disrespectful when it came to a discussion about payment for doing no work. I do not have to be insulted by someone that I have paid and hired to do work in my house, who does not even come close to finishing the work and pay them too. This was truly a wake up call for me. He was worst than terrible. A rating of terrible is too kind!

  I do not know what he was as a contractor. I do know now he is a terrible, disrespectful, poor excuse of a contractor whose license should be revoked because he took my money and did absolutelt nothing. When I asked for at least some of my money back because he did nothing. He said " imagine that." A complete smart a. I tried to handle him as a Christian and asked who was his pastor at Beulah Baptist Church he told me "GOOGLE IT"
  He played a Christian cd and looked in my refrigerator, stayed in my bathroom for an hour, stayed on the job a hr, took 2 hrs dinner break. He never finished. I am a Christian too. This does not mean I have to accept anything. I had enough of his do nothing attitude after 3 weeks Since I could not handle it as a Christian, I will see him in court.

  What a huge disappointment! If I could give a zero star I would. Sam talkec about being a Christian. I tried to resolve in a Christian way. Instead Sam talked about the Mexicans and and other races. When I asked for at least a portion of the money back because he did nothing. He said " imagine that ". For me his whole routine was to get a down payment. I say if you hire someone and they can not do inside work in 3 weeks, they request a down payment up front, they ask you to pay for supplies, a smart mouth , run. There is definitely something wrong! I know all Christians are not alike. I am a Christian too. When I asked him the name of his pastor because he played a Christian CD and he said he went to Beluah Baptist church West Philly. I thought perhaps I could resolve it that way before taking the next step. He said "google it." That is what happens when you take a chance. However I would like to share with you. I prayed about it and God sent someone else to get the work done. I have a beautiful kitchen despite his arrogance. It was done in lest time. Praise the Lord! God is good! He is the reason for the season!

  I hired Sam to do work on my kitchen. He did not have to do any demo work as a friend did the demo work. I agreed to buy supplies only as we discussed. I made a horrible mistake of giving him 2 payments up front which he cashed. He
  took out a pipe that did not need to be taken out. He said he had to rewire the back bedroom. After 18 days he did nothing. He did not not show up on time.
  Sometimes, he did not come to work at all. I asked for some of the money back. He refused. He insulted me. He stayed in my bathroom over a half hour then left and did not say he was leaving. On another occasion he took 2 hr lunch break and left his helpers here. Sometimes he only worked an hour or two so nothing was done. My experience has been a nightmare. I will never use him again. Hired someone else.
