Joe Knight tries to make you think he has integrity. Joe Knight talks a good game about what would be professional and what wouldn't. But it's all a facade. Being distrustful of people in general though, I was reluctant to be trustworthy of somebody I just met.
He took an awful lot of shortcuts in the construction. It was so bad I actually had taking the precautionary measure of stopping payment on a check to make sure he'd come back when I told him he needed to fix something he knew he needed to do, it was the caulking on the eaves of my mobile home which he didn't even finish. He worked on the home for 2 weeks didn't leave a dent then when he had to come back he left all kinds of dents because he had to come back, very childish. One would think him living in a mobile home he would know he would need to do such things. He charged me over $17,000 on a repair that should have been no more than eight thousand. I think I might almost accuse him of price gouging. And he spent a minimal amount of money on the supplies, most of what he used was remnants or I provided, which was the outside panels because they couldn't be purchased anymore and I had access to some that were very near identical. If he had bought three more feet of the material he used for the skirting, he wouldn't have needed to move the trim, which left screw holes which he didn't fill with silicone. He is way overpriced, he is sloppy, he is deceitful, and he is spiteful and he is malicious. I would recommend avoid it all costs unless you have no other choice, which was my situation. I know there are people in Paradise that has hired him. I hope he did a better quality job on their properties than mine.
