  Privacy fence

  This guy is a scam artist. He wants half upfront only so he can scam you out of half of that when he puts poles in and never comes back. He gives you every excuse in the book and they are the same exact ones to every single person he scams. He installed poles and we could pull all of them out without even trying. He is a liar and very unprofessional . Just wants your money.

  Absolutely would not recommend Joes Fence to anyone was supposed to start a job for us 04-14-23 for a vinyl fence gave a 5500.00 deposit did not show up until 04-26-23 all he had was some fence panels threw on ground where anyone could take them returned 04-28-23 with fence post they did a small amount of work haven't seen him since. A bunch of pathetic excuses this man is a liar always has a funeral weather even said he had "the shits" we have text msg to support everything I have written here if he doesn't show tomorrow I'm filing police report we are disabled in our 60s and retired. I have no intention on letting anyone take 5500.00 from me. He did a small previous job and got our trust.

  We are extremely pleased with our chain link fence! The price was very reasonable and the project was completed on time. Joe and his crew were knowledgeable, efficient, and pleasant. And they cleaned up the site before they left!

  Build a chain-link fence

  Today is day 98.
  We are a reputable small business in the Kansas City area. We signed a contract with Joe’s Fence Company in October 2021 to build a chain-link fence at our commercial property. His timeline was two weeks to get started and 3-4 days to finish the project. He cashed the ½ upfront check the very next day. We are presently out $3,250.00 to Joe Letzig of Bates City, Missouri.
  Since October, we have made 25+ calls and 50+ texts. He has made up every excuse possible –
  NO JOE! NO FENCE!

  I had to report him to the AG. He took my $2500 deposit and never showed back up. Even called me drunk once begging for more money. He's been doing this for years to people by changing his company name repeatedly. The AG wasn't much. If we all got together and filed a class action lawsuit, we might be able to do something. He is STILL doing this and he loves to target elderly folks and single women. He also likes to threaten people that he will put a lien on their house. Other fence contractors are aware of him because they have to do the jobs he skips out on and fix the ones he actually attempts to do.

  Put in a split rail fence in our backyard

  THIEF!!!!! FRAUD!!!!! DON'T USE THIS MAN!!!!! Joe stole over $2,600 from us. We paid him for half the job up front for materials in November 2020, and he said it would be completed within a month. Every week he would text my husband and give some reason why he couldn't do the job. This went on for MONTHS. We asked for our money back several times and he kept saying he needed time. It's OUR money. Well, then he finally stopped even replying to us or answering our calls. We even tried to go to the office he has listed, and the landlord of that building never heard of him. We are getting our lawyer involved, and we are contacting the BBB and the State Secretary to report him. All we want is our HARD EARNED MONEY BACK. He is a criminal and should not be trusted. What a scam! BEWARE, he has SEVERAL websites and company names, and seems to jump from one to another when people start to catch on to his con game and STEALING!

  Cedar fence

  Excellent, excellent was the work preformed by Joe’s fence. The crew is skilled and have a good knowledge of fence building. ,it was a pleasure to work with Joe’s fence. Even though the rain kept hampering work, when the crew could work they were right on it. I recommend Joe’s fence, professional and reasonable.

  Hired Joe's fence for a second job took a few weeks longer then expected but we knew it would due to the virus and not being able to find good materials. I would highly recommend if you want the best price and best work.

  If you have hired Joe Letzig from Bates city missouri (he claims to have a office in Overland Park as well) beware. If you haven’t DON’T! He was supposed to install my fence on august 24-25 (it is now sep 28) he has given every excuse in the book including no supplies, broken equipment and his wife had two strokes in 3 weeks strange after finding reviews on him from a different business name with a F rating by Better business bureau I found Kim from Prarie village reviewed “he's had weather issues, then material issues with the coronavirus, then issues with his trailer, then his wife had a supposed stroke.” So she has had at least 3 strokes in the last year. If you have family that have had a TIA, you realize how serious that is and that it is highly unlikely to occur like that. I truly felt sorry for him he seems nice yet he lies. He has many reviews from a guy named Alan Rogers. Alan is the guy that works for him. All the reviews from bates city are his family and friends. He is a liar. He could have ordered materials easily and had them in but he said corona stopped the deliveries. He ordered from Menards I checked, they confirmed it would take 2 weeks to get in. I believe he uses your deposit and builds someone else’s fence. When he said his auger broke I offered to rent one for him, then he promised to install my fence for free twice, but then said he wanted payment for labour after he said he was done.(which he never did any work) My dog has escaped out of my yard and was almost killed because he has not built my fence. I did get him to at least bring part of my vinyl fencing so I am not out as much money as I could have been, (however it is at a substantial markup and some damaged goods. jI also have to pay a lawn company to resod where he killed my grass from leaving the panels there for so long. oe Letzig is a liar. If you are currently in negotiations with him be warned, he will never keep to his word. Many reviews had said he does not finish jobs or work is not done right and he won’t return to fix it. If you ask for your money back he will threaten to put a lien on your property. Be aware if he posts a response trying to put the blame on me or that there were weather issues (only 4 days of rain could be blamed) it is a lie and trying to make himself look better online. I have all of our text conversations to back up what I say. I also believe he has someone else posting his online responses, his vocabulary, spelling and sentence structure increases dramatically on all of his online responses. Again, if you have hired Joe be very wary of his promises and money handling and if you haven’t hired him DON’T!
