I'd give him zero stars, if I could... He came recommended by a neighbor who said he was someone willing to do a small job. Much like Tony above, he took 50% up front and did about a quarter of the work. He then kept making one excuse after another for his delays. It was outdoor work, so he had weather to blame, etc... I chased him down for two years, trying to get a partial refund and got nowhere - no return calls, texts, or letters. I even ran into him at the neighbor's house and he promised to finish the work.

This guy is a crook with a capital C.
I hired him a few years ago. He took my money up front and did half a job.
Then he disappeared and wouldn't respond to calls, letters,etc

I hired John A. Fegley to snowplow my driveway and shovel my sidewalk for the 2023/2024 season. Paid him $378 by check which he cashed. He did not show up to plow or shovel after the first snowstorm and has not responded or returned my calls or messages.
