This person worked on my home. I contracted with his son, Greg Benaske, who had G. Benaske Builders. My home was left with terrible problems. John Benaske came with his company, Benaske Builders (co-owned by John and son Mark) and did some minor repair work. I was left with a missing truss, buckled interior walls, an exterior french door that would not open ( it was installed without a header in a load bearing wall) a long cement porch that tilts towards the house (it quickly cracked, settled into the basement and in doing so pushed our chimney off it's base) and basically 18 violations that the building inspector was afraid to enforce.
At the state hearing the Benaske's had as their witness Louis Denton, the Clare county inspector, who had never seen our home, nor had any jurisdiction in Isabella county where my home is located. He may have seen the voyeur pictures that Greg and Mark took of us as they trespassed on our neigbor's property.
I want these people in prison, not in my home.
