John Cumbridge
What a JOKE. John was hired to do work by the previous home owner nearly 1-2 weeks before we moved in. Upon receiving the keys for our home, we noticed shingles were lifted & was told by our agent to contact him to “fix” the job he had done. We then had a professional roofer come out to look at replacing the roof. He noticed damages that needed IMMEDIATE fixing & others that could wait some time (John was supposed to fix it). He had also used a clear roofing caulk instead of the tar (which we were told wouldn’t last until next spring by the other 3 roofers). So naturally we called John to ask if he could fix the things he was supposed to fix for the previous homeowner. He came into my home YELLING & when I responded to what he was saying he told me to “listen to him”. He told us all the other roofers were wrong & that he does “great work”. We were told by other roofers they WOULD NOT recommend John or his business even before he came to our home to fix the repairs he was supposed to do for the previous homeowner. Nails were sticking up, shingles coming up (can be seen from the road & he was hired to fix them), John told us it was from wind & it wasn’t like that when he was here. WE HAVE PHOTOS of it being for sale & the shingles were raised, so it was like that when he was hired by the previous homeowner. He told us to fix the issues on the roof we could either pay him AGAIN or find someone else. Save yourself the hassle & don’t go to him, awful business & really unprofessional.
