Process started out smoothly and we became friendly but as time went on, felt we were nickle and dimed on every decision. He made big decisions without consultation, promised things he did not deliver and always mentioned how much he was doing for is even though he was handsomely compensated for every upgrade or request. We live in a brand new house that started developing high levels of toxic mold (with no water intrusion)- 3 months after we moved in and is still not dealt with 7 months later since his insurance does not cover poor workmanship or ongoing issues that are not tied to an event ! Waiting days and sometimes weeks for a call or text on issues we agreed on was frustrating.

He charged us for things he did not charge our neighbors for. He built their house as well. When we moved in the house was supposed to be cleaned and it was not. We had beer cans and trash in our basement and underneath our porch it was disgusting. Some jobs were incomplete such as our air conditioning system and painting in our bathroom and around our stove top ceiling. Sloppy work and poor communication.
