  Last year August 2019 we hired John to repair our pool lights. They came out to "fix" them. Yet they broke in less than 2 weeks. John's son came out again and could not fix them. He said that we needed to upgrade our lights. We paid for his services for lights that would not work. We agreed that he would come back in Spring to upgrade the lights. On June 11, I called John asking to come out to complete the project and install new lights. He gave us a quote last year. He texted back (no phone call) stating "We are unable to help you! You have to get someone else!" Not sure why he responded this way. I followed up with a phone (left message) asking for a professional response. We paid $900 for work services for that never fixed our lights. We trusted a good faith effort that he would return this year to help fix the lights. Sorry to share that John left us hanging and lacks the professionalism to respond responsibly.

  We had a massive tree fall into the power lines and completely rip our main power feed off the side of the house leaving the entire meter and aerial equipment broken on the ground and our house in the dark. John had his team respond on an emergency basis within 1/2 hour from our call and they had us repaired up and running in a matter of hours. They have my highest recommendation.

  John Black, is a man of integrity, he runs a professional business, his price's are fair and he is honorable, and trustworthy, I have no problem leaving John at my home without anyone home, he leaves your home the
  way you left it, if not neater. He cleans up, he treats your home as his.
  I will use John every time I need electric service at my home.

  I cannot imagine anyone who knows or has met John Black describing him as fake or not trustworthy! Are you sure you have the right guy?

  I have known John Black for over 15 years and have used him numerous times or simple and complex jobs. He is not only trustworthy but is the most genuinely nice, down-to-earth, kind person I know. I don't even ask him for estimates anymore because his prices are always fair, he does a great job and having him do work for me is like having a friend over for coffee!

  I was in a real bind, planning an art show in my barn, which suddenly lost electricity. John changed his schedule, and worked to complete the necessary work quickly. He was extremely courteous and professional. I can't imagine ANYONE could ever find something negative to say about his work or character. Ann

  The prices are fair and the job was done, but his personality is torn. Almost like he's fake and not trustworthy. Next time I need electrical work done, I will be hiring someone else, that's for sure.
