Johnny Rooter plumbing

October 24th we signed contract, and i fired him on March 7th. I did the demo, we bought everything and had it in our garage. There was no reason for this bathroom to take 5 months and it wasn't even finished when i fired him. He would say he is coming then he never shows up. He has done that more than 5 times. It is ridiculous. He then lied to the building department about not doing any of the finish (install toilet, vanity, etc) which is a lie and we showed them text messages and pictures of them in my bathroom while the toilet was in and vanity.. I opened a case with BBB because they destroyed my brand new stair rug and also the outside of my bathroom. He was a local guy who didn't live that far and we gave him an opportunity and he completely destroyed that opportunity. They are very unprofessional, they never cleaned up after themselves, they constantly say "sorry" and "we understand". They went into my garage without asking and made a complete mess while doing molding.. Heads up they did molding in a full day (it was about 6 cuts maybe less). Most of the time one guy is sitting in the bathroom looking at the floor while the other guy runs out to pick something up or runs to another job. They take 2 to 3 hour lunch breaks, not even kidding. We have witnesses who couldn't believe they do nothing all day. They left garbage all in my backyard and on my deck, they never took it. He even threatened me with lawyers to keep me quiet. I am allowed to leave a review on a company who is not professional and did a horrendous job in my house. His own guys can't believe the bathroom not done in 5 months. He is trying to blame the tile guy that he hired for the rug damage. Not sure what that has to do with anything since we paid him and he paid the tile guy. I do believe he needs to learn business because he is the Contractor not the tile guy. He then insists I hired someone else under his permit to finish the job which is a lie. I did it.
