Please do not hire Johnny's Painting Company.
I hired Johnny to paint my house - standard requirements of caulking, scraping and priming and 2 coats of body and trim paint. Very little caulking, scraping, priming was done, and only one coat of paint was applied. The old paint can be seen in many places on all four sides, and there are spots on the garage door that received no paint! It was my mistake to pay Johnny without waiting a day for a thorough inspection. However, Johnny now refuses to correct the problem, saying what he did is sufficient. Which of course it is not, but regardless, the contract calls for 2 coats of paint. I pursued this through the BBB and state attorney general, which was completely ineffective. I'm not pursuing this through small claims court. 10/26/15.
