The guys at Johnstown Excavating did a great job installing a new sewer line in my home. The owner and the guys that work for him were very polite and respectful. I would and have recommended them. Job well done guys.

We were purchasing a house and the previous owner had to have the sewer line work done for highland water and sewer. After we moved in we noticed we had a sink hole starting in our yard. I called and they told me they knew about it and we were on there list. That was five weeks ago. I call and leave our number but they never call us back. At a loss about we are suppose to do now.

I had them do a sewer line for me and cut the concrete and had no problem with it after they were done. They did great work and I would recommend them anytime.

I had Johnstown Excavating do sewer work in my tiled bathroom as mandated by Highland Sewer and Water Authority. They cut through ceramic tile, presumably realizing that a tiled floor would then be replaced. The cement work that was left had a "hump" in it. It was not flat or "skreeted" so this made it VERY DIFFICULT for the contractor to lay new tile. 1 of the tiles cracked and had to be replaced at the hump. Also, the phlange of the toilet was lowset withuneven cement work around it. After the tile was grouted and dried, the contractor set the toilet. Another tile cracked. And they said I should have called them to tell them that the floor was uneven--NO NO NO-- the work should have been done correctly the 1st time and a lot of headaches would have been avoided- Very disappointed in the quality of the work--- It cost $1900.00 to have the cemnt work done- I got $30 back for the 1st tile that had to be replaced- We will see if I get any more $ for the contractor to come out and replace the other tile, having to take up the toilet and replace the tile and get a new wax ring- I would not recommend this contractor.
