We have used Jon Wayne Heating & AC for about 3 years now. They are extremely professional and although somewhat pricier than other companies, we trust their work. They installed a new AC system and it cut down on our utility bills immediately and requires a once a year filter which the company comes out to do.
Our plumbing situation was pricey too. Partial pipe damage which required outside digging and reinstallation of pipes for the sewer system. Branches had grown into the pipes and were causing a clog. Their camera equipment allowed us to see the problem. Because of the weather it took about a week to take care of digging, fixing the pipes and filling the dirt back into the hole. But they kept us appraised on every step.
On a smaller scale, they fixed leaks in indoor plumbing. They did a good job and taught me how to repair small problems for the future.
They have a program which costs about $10 monthly, it will cover our AC unit. They come out and clean it out once a year.
We used another company (will not mention their name) for a water heater system which only lasted two years before having to get another one - and this was not easy. The warranty was out and it cost a few hundred dollars and we will not use that company again.
I would highly recommend Jon Wayne AC/Heating/Plumbing/Electrical if you want quality work. We believe in paying for quality instead of having shoddy work. I would give them a 5 Star Rating!

We have been using Jon Wayne for the past 3-4 years for plumbing and AC/Heating issues.
Though they may be somewhat pricier than most - the quality is excellent.
Our AC unit cost about $10,000. This included getting rid of our old unit, replacing it with a new one,
and adding insulation in the attic. I think it's a 10 year warranty? Not sure.
We saw results with the new AC unit - monthly savings of $20-$50. It also only requires a filter replacement
once a year and Jon Wayne comes out to do it.
We signed up for a $10 monthly program with the company. So, this includes them coming out and cleaning the AC
unit and replacing the filter.
They are quick to respond and if it's an emergency - they will come out same day (maybe late though).
When our toilets weren't working - the job was much bigger than originally thought. The pipes outdoor leading to the sewer lines were clogged up with roots of trees. They had to dig out there, replace pipes (that were 20 years old) and that took them about
7 days (only because it rained in the meantime). We had flushing toilets immediately but he said it was only temporary because the flow would be slow and needed to be repaired immediately. We had their work inspected by NB code and compliance. The code and compliance person said that Jon Wayne has a good reputation in New Braunfels and their work is excellent.
My husband and I believe in paying for quality work. The reason we didn't go locally is because the wait was long and some folks didn't return our calls. Our home is 20 years old and we're pleasantly surprised at how well it was built.
