Jonathan is outstanding. The work he did for us was done extremely professionally and looks amazing. He is very prompt, personable and reasonable. We will continue to use him for all of our small and large projects around the house.

Jonathan is the best contractor! He did some work for us when we had a huge leak in our living room that required work outside of our house and inside. Like most construction work, there were some unforeseen problems that came up but he handled everything very professionally. He is very considerate and communicative. I was never left wondering what the status of our project was. He’s also honest and transparent about the work, timelines, cost, etc. He’s trustworthy and delivers high quality work. I was in charge of an ADA restroom rebuilding project for the American Legion Post in Newport Beach. The total project was about $270,000, and involved numerous subcontractors. Jonathan submitted the lowest and most comprehensive bid, and was therefore awarded the project. I'm retired, but I have a lot of experience working with general contractors on large projects, and I can honestly say that Jonathan is the best one I have ever worked with. He hired very qualified subs, made sure they adhered to his schedule and performed quality work, and was there on site to supervise. He was creative in solving issues, and made sure that his client's needs were put first. I can't recommend him any more highly.

I found Jonathan after my project was stoped because I had a non permitted loft. Johnathan came in and solved my problem brought my loft up to code. His price was less than most other quotes and what I thought it should be. He started on time and finished on time. The inspector remarked it was a very well dome job.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jonathan on two major and a few minor projects. About two years ago he and his crew did a major rehab of the outside of my large two story house that besides painting involved multiple repair jobs. He just completed a similar refurbishing job inside for a large two bedroom apartment. In addition to the total painting and carpet replacement this job also included multiple repair projects that required a knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general construction issues. All work has been done very professionally and on time. I have recommended him to my daughter and a friend.

We had nearly given up on our project, until we found Jonathan Cook Construction. We wanted to enclose our atrium creating a second bathroom, office space, second primary walk in closet and expand our primary bath.
We talked with many contractors and were surprised to find that so many did not even return our calls or even bother to show up for appointments. Jonathan Cook Construction recently completed an extensive remodel on our 5-year-old home in Newport Coast. He came highly recommended by our neighbor, and were not disappointed. The original builder missed a lot of details that Jonathan was able to correct. Our kitchen and two bathrooms are amazingly beautiful! He suggested many changes to the design along the way that were better suited for our needs that the architect missed. He helped us select the right materials and insured they were delivered on time. Jonathan did an amazing job with our home. We had an outdoor atrium in the center of our home converted into indoor living space. He is extremely detailed oriented and pointed out things we didn't even mention. The new addition to our home looks as if it always existed!
