I am not much for writing reviews, but felt compelled to for Chris after completing the framing portion on our custom home on the Big Island of Hawai’i.
When we started the process of building, we were told numerous times, make sure you specify not only the day, but the month that subcontractors will show up. That was never the case with Chris. He would be the first on the job site everyday. He would study the plans and ask us questions about certain aspects that we might have missed. We felt very comfortable with Chris at the helm.We also were grateful that he and his crew were respectful. There wasn’t swearing or a bunch of negative bashing going on. It was a work environment and the crew worked hard and carefully everyday.
The other positive about Chris and his crew, were their cleanliness. The job site was cleaned up daily. There was never a risk of being injured from debris lying around. It was so nice to check on our home at the end of the day and walk into a site that was organized and clean.
If you’re in need of a framer, don’t he’s to call Chris. You will not be disappointed.

We are so happy to provide this review of Jonathan David Construction. Chris Basalyga, the owner was great to work with. Chris always was on the job site first thing in the morning to organize the job. The crew he used were knowledgeable, responsible and pleasant to work with. My husband is a retired General Contractor and was on the job site daily.
Chris had some great ideas for ways to construct a better product and was open to trying new processes himself. The quality of workmanship was excellent.
Chris kept the job site clean and safe at all times.
We will definitely use Chris and his crew for future projects.
