Well now we are approaching the two year mark of Dave Locke's theft of a $3000.00 deposit for a job he never did. Terrible person and still lying about repaying.

I reviewed Dave Locke last year and here we are 14 plus months later and still haven't received any of my deposit back. Numerous excuses. I think he is either a compulsive liar or is just plain dishonest, Court here we come.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. We were foolish enough to sign a contract with him in October 2015 upon a friends recommendation and it is now April of 2016 and the work is still incomplete. Half of our house was torn up for months and now he just stopped responding to my calls and texts all together. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY EVER!

Do not use David W Locke AKA Jorman construction
Do not use this contractor. I have used him before and, like Art M said, "something has changed." He took my $20K for a job and did not complete the work. That was over three months ago and numerous excuses. I too will be reporting him to the BBB and the Pa. Attorney General's Office for fraudulent business practices. -
By E S.August 12, 2015Remove tree$1,000Took our money and lied about showing up to do work
We gave a 1K deposit in June towards removing a tree which was splitting. They didn't show up despite multiple calls. The tree fell in late July destroying an out building and one man with a saw did 2 hours work cutting up the main trunk but never returned to get the brush or do anything else & haven't returned calls or emails. We're going to file in small claims court for at least a portion of our money back.

David also took our deposit for $5K for a job, never did the job and said he would be returning our deposit but nothing. We have provided evidence to the PA. Attorney General's Office for Fraudulent business practices. If anyone else has experienced this theft - please also contact the Attorney General's Office.

We are still working with this contractor but so far things are going well. They have been able to fit us into their schedule on a "project by project" basis and have been responsive to our questions and concerns. There have been a few times when we felt that communication could have been better in terms of when they will arrive and exactly what they are quoting, but since they seem very busy and usually take on complete remodels rather than piecemeal project work we can understand and can appreciate that their schedules are sometimes in flux. Plus, they have been happy to answer any questions we have had, they are easy to work with and they seem to care a lot about their work and their clients. All in all a positive experience!

Do not use this contractor. I have used for 15 years and something has changed. He took my $3K deposit for a job and then texted and said he could not do the job for "personal and professional reasons" and would be returning my deposit. That was over three weeks ago and numerous excuses. I will be reporting him to the BBB and the Pa. Attorney General's Office for fraudulent business practices.

27 Months and counting for him to return the $3000.00 he stole as a deposit for a job and never showed. I embarrassed him when I saw him working in Ridley Twp and he dropped a check for $300.00 off at my house. He is a liar and a thief.
