    Metal roof, two windows, asbestos removal, install plywood, vinyl siding, gutters, downspouts and gu

    I signed a contract on Aug. 11, 2021 for a 13x13 metal roof, install two windows, remove asbestos shingles on one side of the house, cover that side with plywood, new vinyl siding, new gutters and down spouts and gutter guards. I was told the roofers would start 2nd or 3rd week of September and the siding guys would follow up a week later.
    Sean Horan installed one window and after what I seen from his crude installation I knew at that moment I hired a hack contractor and decided to install the other window myself. Next came the roofers, what a joke, they didn't have the proper tools to work with metal, two young men working with the older roofer didn't have a clue on what to do, I tried speaking to them but they didn't speak English. You need to be there watching every step of the way or they will skip the proper roof installation. I called them out on it and Sean always had an excuse for why they forgot something. The roof wasn't complete, it was missing sidewall flashing. Many text messages, phone calls and they never did complete the roof.
    Now It's November and they haven't been back to the job site, they finally call and say we are going to start the siding next week. Days before the start date they call and tell me it will be delayed because they don't have all the siding. I called supply houses that dealt with my brand of siding and they told me there were no issues getting product in. I knew they fabricated the story of being short of the vinyl siding. I spoke with two attorneys and we decided to wait until December to ask for the remaining down payment back. I called Deb and ask for my money back, they gave me a check for the remaining down money we agreed upon.
    If you sign with this contractor make sure everything you want done is in the contract. Verbal discussions don't mean anything legally. Sean under bid my first contractor by eliminating many items I wanted on the house. I overlooked many items and when I confronted him on it he didn't respond. There is a law in Pa. that forbids this practice. Please read the bad reviews besides on his web site, they will tell you everything about Joseph Siefert Contracting LLC. No clue on window or metal roof installation. I warned you.
