I originally chose Joshua's Landscape Design due to Josh's responsiveness and promptness. I even chose him over other estimates that were cheaper because I liked how responsive he was. Never again. It's been almost a month I have been trying to get to a solution and he has been very unresponsive and, clearly, does not consider fixing his work a priority. Below is a timeline of exchanges between Josh and I that has led me to post this review:
Friday, July 19 - I first contacted Josh about the issues I saw with the work he completed
Friday, July 19 - Josh said that he would contact Tom (one of his workers) and get back to me on Monday (July 22)
Thursday, July 25 - I sent a follow up email asking about the solution
Friday, August 2 - sent a follow up message on Facebook in which he responded that he would be there at the end of next week
Monday, August 5 - sent a follow up FYI message and, after a few exchanges, he said he was driving and he would call me shortly
Wednesday, August 7 - I texted Josh with questions about why he did something on one job and not on mine; Josh responded that he would be over tomorrow end of the day
Thursday, August 8 - I texted Josh to follow up saying that we have not seen him at the house today when someone was home all day; Josh responded that he goofed up and forgot to come over but "will come tomorrow after work! Promise."
Friday, August 9 - I texted Josh to follow up to see what the plan is for fixing it; Josh responded that he will have it done by Wednesday (August 14); when I asked what the plan was he said he was driving and he would message me shortly. I never heard from him.
Wednesday, August 14 - I texted Josh to follow up about the status and he said he would message me shortly. No work has been done.
8/16 - Joshua finally was true to his word and came to fix his work. It's unfortunate that it had to get to posting a review for the problem to be fixed. While I appreciate them holding up their word and correcting what they did wrong, I do not plan on using them again.
