hired jox construction to put a porch and grill in my backyard and remodel my master shower. Everything was suppose to be done within 3 months. A year and a half later I had 75% of my outside porch and grill done and a shower 80 percent done with cracks in the wall. Plus trash from his workers in my yard, including their lunch wrappers. Mike hardley ever showed up to watch his workers. I had to get Better Business Bureau involved for unfinished work. The complaint is on they're website. He used his insurance check to finish work and paid a guy I had to hire to finish it. When we got got to the shower, we smelled mold from Mike's work. The shower had alot of mold behind the shower walls and floor. A damaged shower pan was installed, along with a 1 1/2 inch pipe put over a 1 inch shower drain, so water was leaking under my shower floor into foundation. Also his guy put no insulation in wall of my shower pipes. This was another financial burden put on me by Mike. It cost 6k to finish work, which he gave a check for, but then it was an additional 5k to tear his work down and replace all that he installed in the molded and damaged shower. He agreed in person and in text to pay it. I only asked for half the money. He has been telling me he'll pay it and has a guy coming over for the past year and a half. He has left me hanging many Saturdays when he said he's on his way and no shows. All I asked was he does the right thing and he doesn't answer his phone since October. Very unprofessional and disappointing. We even agreed verbally on him cementing part of my backyard which would have been cheaper than 2.5k dollars, I was trying to save mike more money, and he's been a no show. This is unacceptable!
