Wish I'd seen this page before. Joe Petrick is a liar and a thief. His business, currently under name JPJ Home Improvements, is not currently licensed. He took money and materials from us. Delayed and ultimately abandoned the job. He lies to your face, and adds on many extras to the job. Beware!

Joe Petrick, the owner, is completely unprofessional. I would never suggest anyone to hire him! He was subcontracted to drywall a small bathroom, my kitchen ceiling, and a small downstairs bathroom ceiling. He cuts look like something a child would do. He leaves the job site everyday a mess with debris everywhere, drywall putty all over the floors and heater vents. He mixed the putty in one spot, spilled it on the floor, stepped in it, then proceeded to walk all over his work areas, then never once cleaned anything up! It is now almost two weeks since he first started and is still not done. I complained about the mess and he has since removed his tools and now wont return anyone's phone calls. So he basically walked out on the job without finishing it. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!!!

DO NOT WORK WITH JOE PETRICK at JPJ Home Improvements, or Interior Solutions, or Easton Electric and Security (his other company names). He is a terrible contractor. He will quote, take a deposit, then charge for installment payments in rapid succession for work that is not complete. So you believe the project is progressing well, and you have made progressive payments. Then he will demand more money to complete the work, and will leave the job site in a totally unfinished state if you do not pay him more. Even if you do pay him more, Joe Petrick will continue to promise a schedule, and always have a "smooth talking" excuse why it was not met. He works a few hours a day at best. His crews are not qualified workers. His ego is huge, but his skills, quality of work, and ability to finish a job are all very very very poor. Do not work with Joe Petrick in the Lehigh Valley. (like many others to post poor reviews for Joe Petrick, I too wish I had discovered this site and these reviews earlier, and before I learned the very hard way not to trust or work with Joe under any of his company names)
