First, I want to warn anyone who may deal with this company. Check with the attn general's office and the Dept. of Revenue. They are very nice buyt they lie. They charges me sles tax on labor and that has been illegal since 2007

My experience with J & S construction consultants was bad and still IS bad as it’s been over a year ago I hired them and they still haven’t completed the job They are famous for telling you they’ll be there and don’t show or call. You have to hunt them down to show up. Their Forman “Lou” is the worst! He is a lying, scammer. I’ve even reported Lou to the general mgr and he had to handle the situation. I do have to admit Lou was Johnny on the spot to pick up those checks as they came in from the insurance co. He’d even call me to tell me when they were coming as he’d call the insurance company to find out when they were paying. He’d even come to pick up mommies and forget to tell the company he picked up a few thousand dollars when he did. I waited about 1 year for a screen door to be replaced. Over and over Lou told me he ordered it I finally called the company making the screen door and he hadn’t ordered it. That’s when I called Jon’s- Gen Mgr to complain about it and John said he’d look into it and it did finally get handled. This is when I found out Lou had not claimed he’d picked up money from the job. I still have not gotten my screens replaced or the front steps and railing done but looks like it will be another 6 months until it’s going to be warm enough to paint now!
Everyone beware- If you need your reconstruction or repairs done in a timely manner- DONT HIRE J& S Construction for the job. If I could get my money back especially for inconvenience and for work still undone - as I said it’s been over a year!
