This basement foundation repair company was a lifesaver to us! We had been dealing with a wet and leaky basement for years, and no matter what we tried, we couldn't seem to fix the issue. We ran across JTC Paving & Masonry and paul was able to come out to our home in Paramus, New Jersey, and diagnose and fix the problem in just three days. They were professional, efficient, and very reasonably priced. Our basement has been completely dry ever since....very much happy with the outcome... If you are having any issues with your foundation in New Jersey, I would highly recommend giving them a call, Also Considering Having them re-do our backyard paver patio & front walkway.

CAUTION to hire JTC PAVING & MASONRY!

Hired JTC Paving & Masonry to replace the sidewalk in front of my house in January 2021, cost of work would be $15,000. The work began, the sidewalk was broken up, a total of 15 slabs, without the proper township permits. To date, April 2021, the work was abandoned and left incomplete. Despite numerous attempts to have the work completed correctly, they refused to meet or call the township inspectors and stopped responding to calls and text messages. In good faith, we paid the company $8,000 upfront, they worked for 2 days and they left the job unfinished. It is extremely dangerous to step outside my home.

I write this negative review to caution other hard working homeowners from hiring JTC Paving & Masonry. In a time when families are suffering great personal losses and struggling to make an honest living during a pandemic, JTC Paving & Masonry are promising good work and instead, take your hard earned savings and move on to the next victim.

James and his crew were very professional and courteous. He was a pleasure to work with and the quality of the work was excellent! I was extremely pleased with the results and requested additional work to be done. I would highly recommend James and this company!

Handing JTC Paving & Masonry over my walkway project was the best decision that I still feel should have been done long back. I have never come across such a quality-oriented Home Improvement company to do the walkway work with sheer dedication like you have done. I found JTC Paving & Masonry through preferred contractor lists at two different local stone supply yards. One call to JTC and within one day, James responded to our home to go over our project ideas and repairs needed. I was immediately very impressed with James’s professionalism, knowledge, ideas and confidence in completing our project. Within one day James provided a written detailed estimate that was within our budget and offered completing additional services that were needed to our home. Our project included adding stone veneer to the front of our house, weatherproofing and replacing vinyl siding to half of our house, extending a our patio, and repairing several framing issues that were encountered. During the entire process we were impressed with professionalism and cleanliness of all the employees that took obvious pride and care into their work. We couldn't be happier with the finished product and look forward to using JTC Paving & Masonry’s Services again. Don't hesitate to use and trust JTC to complete your project and know that it was done right.

Our project was large (100' retaining wall replacement, large patio, new front walk and stoop). My wife and I have been very nervous for years about this project. Finding a reputable contractor who gives a fair price and does a professional job is not easy at all.

When I first met with James at JTC my gut told me right away he was the right company for the job. After talking with other 4 contractors it was an easy decision. Fair price, excellent work, and skilled crew sums up our experience. The job took 2 weeks and we are absolutely thrilled with the results.

We can't say enough good things about James and JTC Paving & Masonry. The communication was outstanding. Hit some unexpected problems with the demo but the crew worked through everything like pros. Everything turned out beautiful. The cutting of the pavers and wall blocks were perfectly accurate. Every single piece fits like a glove and the crew went through great care to protect my property as they worked.

Give this company a chance to earn your business. Always get multiple estimates of course but one of the estimates should be JTC. James will listen to everything you say and communicate with you every step of the way. His crew is professional, accurate, and hardworking. A pleasure to work with on every level. Thomas and team are very reasonable and professional. They did 2 paver patios, a walkway, and bluestone stairs around my property. Arrived as promised, work is wonderful.

Horrible experience so far! (Sloppy and rushed work) Thomas one of the owners rushed the guys to proceed with the asphalt installation, even though the ground was still soft from the driveway extension. Since this process was rushed, the asphalt then cracked and lifted. After weeks of complaining, Thomas and John finally came back and cut out the impacted area (9'4" by 3'8"). However, it's still not leveled with the rest of the asphalt and there are clear gaps around this huge rectangular area in the driveway. Thomas refuses to correct and is recommending that the sealer we purchased on our own, be the bandaid to cover up the botched job. I have asked to speak with another owner to have this rectified and neither Thomas nor John have provided be with the name of the person that can help to rectify.

These guys are great! John came by and quoted a price that was very very fair. We did our driveway with a border of belgian blocks and our walkway in pavers. Fantastic job, really professional. Our sidewalk had unanticipated obstacles including a severe grade difference and massive tree roots, and they only charged a little extra to cover their costs. We will have them back in a few months to replace our old driveway!

Our initial project was to create more usable outdoor living space by covering a part of our existing blue stone patio. However, the patio was unlevel and coming apart. After contacting several companies, we decided to go with JTC Paving & Masonry. Thomas,John and team were fantastic. They listened to our visions of the outdoor living space we desired and helped us come up with a plan to make the best use of what we had and to repair the existing patio without blowing our budget. They were honest and made some very helpful recommendations. The team was very professional and they finished the job on schedule and on budget. We are very pleased with the work and plan to finish covering the patio in the near future with JTC’s help!

We hired JTC and crew to fix two leaking chimneys in our old 1860s house. They cut and repointed both chimneys and placed a new granite cap on top. John was great to work with throughout the project and he stayed right on his estimate. We even hired him for two smaller jobs inside and I’m so glad we did. Thomas and his crew did a great job. I had a very large project, a driveway, a patio and a porch. The price Thomas gave me was right in line with other quotes, but he seemed much more equipped to handle a large work load, and he was. They had a lot of rain to deal with but still seemed to get the job done in a timely manor. I would like to take the time to advise anyone looking for a great, honest and reliable contractor to hire JTC. When my wife and I bought our home we were in desperate need to redo our retaining wall and walkway. John led us through the entire process adding important information that many other contractors missed. Had we done the job with anyone else we would have had to redo the entire job within a few years because of the tree roots growing under our walkway. He was extremely professional with his work and understanding about the price. He was able to work with our budget and create a modern new wall and walkway. This family owned paving and masonary company is friendly, professional, and does excellent work. Each step of the job was carefully overseen. They reset my Belgium blocks, added new where needed, reshaped the curve of my circular driveway which improved the curb appeal significantly. My new back steps look good, just waiting extra day for it to thoroughly dry before trying it out. I will have them back to seal the blacktop in 6 months as well as replace my front porch and walk to the driveway once we no longer need the handicap ramp

I shopped for a new driveway for my house for weeks. I narrowed it down to two finalists, the other company didnt even return my call to this day. But John called the same day I asked for a quote. He came by that day, gave me a great price and even started the job weeks before he told me he could schedule me for the job...yes, he has that many jobs!!! It was done so fast, on time, and better than i imagined. He is not just one of the sales reps, but he works just as hard as his crew. My husband and I chose this company for our driveway and back patio because of the great job they did on our neighbors driveway. They completed our driveway, walkway and patio today and it looks amazing!! We are so happy we chose JTC Paving & Masonry. The crew, including the owners, were professional and friendly! Everything we went over with John during our estimate was done perfectly. We had complete confidence that he would make sure everything came out as we wanted it and it did. The job was done quickly and even the owners worked on our job which was a great judge of character on their part. The brickwork is clean and looks great. They definitely know what they are doing! JTC installed a new concrete walkway if front of my house. Job was well done! No more water pooling in entry way. Workers did a great job. Mr. John stayed true to his word in getting my concerns addressed. I am picky because my dad was a mason. Would use them again for future jobs.
