The Judson's are capable of building a home, however if you are looking for a custom builder stay away from them. They are also listed as JL Judson. They misrepresented themselves as custom builders promising software programs to track our build, keeping us below their cost estimates. Our contract indicated a 6-8 month build, rather turned into 1 1/2 years with no explanation. Spec home quality products used on our home to include paint (which after a one year inspection the paint team indicated we had contractor grade flat paint vs what should have been matte paint). Given lowest end of environmental units which we now experience very high costs. Costs throughout the build went up due to the contractor pricing the project below actual costs to include our cabinetry, our driveways etc. Very unprofessional in not following through with requested repairs and very confrontational. Offered no solutions rather excuses throughout our build. When something was fixed to their standard not the homeowner there was always and excuse. We would never use them again. I was even called by another family who was in the middle of a build had similar complaints and were also in cost overrun due to the builder. If you want a Spec home they might be the ones for you, however be careful that your costs will go up right in front of you. If you want quality and custom steer away from them.
