    Demo and new construction

    Mr. Jeffery Juge demolished, leveled, and built a brand new, elevated, custom home for us. He is meticulous and careful; don't know why the 2017 review is so negative. It does not reflect our experience with Mr. Juge and his subcontractors at all. Our walls are plumb; joints are tight; construction site is pristine. Mr. Juge has definitely gone 'way beyond our contract to ensure the best quality of materials and work. He has been very accommodating regarding our special requests and incorporating our wishes into practical applications for our new house.

    Reconstruction

    My experience with Juge Builders was a total nightmare. I am still living the nightmare and wonder if I will ever overcome it. The sheetrock work was extremely poor. There are cracks in various places throughout. Exposed tape and screws as well. Tears and indentations in the sheetrock are also visible. The Laminate flooring in the Living room has gaps in a couple of areas. Also Laminate flooring throughout the house was not secured properly. As you walk about , often times, your shoes are caught in the seems of the laminate flooring. Due to poor installation. Cracks at the seems are becoming larger.Both Bathrooms were not prepped for a moisture filled environment. Wall tiles in 1 bathroom are slipping. Wall heaters in each bathroom appear to no longer be functional. Trim work is a joke. Apparently finish work has not been mastered. Mr. Juge hired a worker to lay tiles in both my bathrooms. He never met the young man. Just hired him sight unseen. He appeared to be on drugs and both bathroom floors had to be torn up. Mr. Juge has no self discipline. When I called him on a couple of things he was doing wrong he began screaming at me and calling me a liar. One of his employees went into my neighbors trash pile and picked out a couple of 2 by 4's. My neighbor informed me of this and also told me the 2 by 4's had termites in them. Mr. Juge left me in my home without a toilet for 3 months. When I brought this to his attention he said "You lie, You lie." A friend of mine put the toilet in for me. I told Mr. Juge I would get him on the phone and he could speak with him. Mr. Juge would not speak to him. I wonder why ? I finally had to ask Mr. Juge to leave. He destroyed my house. It looked better after the flood than it does now. However, I could no longer take his shoddy work and his disrespectful screaming at me. Juge Builders left me in a terrible bind. I have been victimized twice. Whatever you do , do not hire this Contractor. There are many more problems as a result of this Contractor. I did ask him to come back and make his wrong right. He agreed to do so but never showed up. Please don't make the mistake I did. You will be sorry.
