Jules Construction

Jules Construction company, Mr. Scott Forcier (GC), should have DESERVED NO STAR rating. We hired Mr. Scott to do the entire renovations of our townhome which included replacing all windows, doors, 2.5 bathrooms, Kitchen, Basement, and some structural modifications. It all started very well with great presentation, all the promises on completion timeline, how much care will they take during renovation phases. No such CARE was ever taken inside the house, where spillage, breakage of materials, water leaks everywhere was the NORM DURING RENO. ESSENTIALLY SCOTT & HIS CREW WERE CARELESS THROUGHOUT RENOVATIONS.

Scott was hired as GC (general contractor) for the entire renovations due to his experience, attention to details, dedication, & integrity. However, Scott NEVER performed his duties professionally & ethically. He subcontracted almost all the tasks & never seemed to manage them well & checked/inspected their work at all.

Here’s couple of examples:
When flooring started pop & buckle in the family room, he blamed it on flooring material & HVAC heat duct under the subflooring. He convinced flooring company of this idiotic & silly belief so he can get the free flooring from them. The flooring company eventually caved in b/c of his construction company & reputation and sent Scott 2 boxes of free luxury Vinyl flooring. It turned out that about a gallon of “Orange Cleaner” solution was spilled during reno but after flooring installation. The aggressive nature of this chemical solution eventually made it under the flooring pass the wall baseboards, which EVENTUALLY CAUSED THE BUCKLING & POPING OF THE FLOORING. Mr. Scott eventually admitted that he was missing this “Orange cleaner” gallon for some time but none of his crew nor his subcontractor ever came forward of this despicable & heinous act. Clear example of Mr. Scott’s lack of supervision & control over his crew and the situation.

Flooring is NOT LEVELED, poorly installed shower sliding door, glass wall barrier not finished, painting incomplete, improper door closet installations!

Scott promised entire renovations completion within 3-4 month… Well, it’s 10+ months & counting, it nowhere near complete. To make matter worse, he’s NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!!! HE DOESN’T PICK UP CALLS, ANSWER ANY TEXTS… JUST DISAPPEARED WITHOUT ANY EXPLANAITON OR NOTICE. WE TREATED HIM LIKE A FAMILY AND SPENT OVER 150K IN RENOVATIONS. It’s a living nightmare, truly devastated, & beyond any frustration we’re faced with. Jules Construction is a HORRIBLE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY & BEYOND HORRIBLE HUMAN BEING, Mr. Scott Forcier!!!! We’ve no leverage in the situation as almost all money paid out and countless tasks remained. Mr. Scott taught us a valuable lesson on NOT TRUSTING & TREATING ANYONE LIKE A FAMILY TO ANY STRANGER MOVING FORWARD. MOST IMPORTANTLY NEVER EVER PAY ANY CONTRACTOR FULLY, ALWAYS KEEP MINIMUM OF 30% until completion.

Jules Construction is unprofessional, unethical, and unreliable. Mr. Scott Forcier has no business calling himself a general contractor.** Avoid this company at all costs — you’ll save yourself a nightmare.
