My experience with Justin is similar to the previous review. He talks a lot, promises a lot more but fails to follow through — and is very slow to return calls or text messages. He met with my wife and I to renovate our pool. He did not take any notes and the scope of work was very vague. Next time I will ask for detailed scope of work. Within a month of work completion, a leak developed in the plumbing for the water refill. I got no response to repair this and had to get it done in my own. About a month after that the mastic along the edge of the coping began to disconnect. I spoke to Justin about it and he said he’d get to it when his team was in the area — never heard from him again. I sent a text about a month later and he said he’d get it in his schedule. 6 months later the work is not done and he does not respond to texts or calls. Talks the talk, but does not walk the walk.

Justin and his crew start off strong, but our continuously late and at times, don’t show at all. I have made numerous calls and attempted appointments, that were either forgotten about, or just completely blown off. He talks a lot, but follow through is not there and eventually you realize you are very low on his priority list. It’s all about the money for him and moving on to the next job. He charges top dollar, but lacks dependability. I will need to find another pool contractor to complete the work he did not.

We’ve clearly all had similar experiences with Justin. He began a remodel of my existing pool on February 11, 2025, and as of October 14, the project is still not complete. The process has been filled with repeated promises, excuses, and long periods of inaction. After eight months of delays and frustration, I’ve lost confidence in his reliability. He’s now saying he’s “embarrassed,” but that hasn’t translated into any real progress. I strongly recommend avoiding this contractor.
