    Jobs looks good but my raised garage door header is 4inches short. I needed 9ft door and only got 8ft 8inches.
    Haven’t gotten much of a response back after trying to contact him again

    Framing and sub floor was acceptable, finish work was poor. Laminate floor install was a disaster. All installed flooring was damaged and unusable.

    He came over and looked over the job. Mentioned that he sees no problem with it. Couple days later e-mailed me an appraisal in some other ladies name. After he corrected name. We both agreed that he would start that Monday. I arranged for a neighbor to open house up for him. Sunday night I messaged him and asked him what time should I plan on him being here. He messaged me back that he had covid, That his wife works at Rite-aid and brought it home to him. I explained that I work in health field so luckily that health dept. has change isolation days to 5 days. He said he started to feel cruddy that Friday. So figured he possible could do the job the next Thursday. Wed. evening I messaged him asked him how he was doing and if he could tell me approx.
    what time he would be here. No Response. Sunday night I messaged him again. Asking him if he felt better and when can he do the job. Still No response. A week later. I messaged him and requested him to respond to me. (concerned that he maybe was really sick, in hospital or something). He responded back the next evening stating: "Yaa my wife and I jumped into our motorhome and went to Oregon coast for a relaxing vaca. And now I have a big flooring job coming up, which will take me a week or so." Since I need this work done, and can not do myself. I told him that if he promised to do after he finished his bigger, better job. I will wait for him. Of course "NO RESPONSE". So rude. If he doesn't want to do my job, all he had to do is tell me. My husband passed away last Aug. after a couple year battle of cancer. I've never had to deal with rude handyman before because my husband it in. This so upsets me, I agreed to pay him the money he wanted. Would not recommend him even giving an appraisal.

    Well being in this business for Manny years I have learned to be able to see when the customer is going to be way more trouble than the job is worth. I did have covid and I did have much bigger jobs scheduled already for those weeks. But after she sent me a half dozen rude text, it was better I stayed away from her. She told me the company that she had just bought her stove from, wouldn't return her calls. Gee I wonder why,we did no work for her, or took any money. We just got tired of her abuse before we even did the job. We will always give great service. We have Manny other great reviews out there. I would be upset as well if I couldn't even pay some one to work for me because I was so difficult.

    Gentleman was quick to respond at to all questions, was available in a timely manner, did and EXCELLENT job and kept the site clean! Pricing was very reasonable and will most likely have him to more jobs to get the house up and up before putting it for sale, I will recommend this company again and again!

    JVS Construction Maintenance and Repair LLC has helped my family complete numerous projects. He has painted our home, built us a shed with an attached dog kennel, Installed laminate floors and also helped texture an unfinished wall. He is honest and upfront with his pricing and has always gave us a fair deal. We will continue to request him for our projects and recommend him to our friends.
