I would never recommend JW Builders.
Our entire downstairs flooded to the point that all flooring and drywall had to be removed. We lost all of our possessions in 3 bedrooms and have had to start over from scratch. My husband contacted JW builders and we thought we had finally found a local contractor that would be professional and competent. Unfortunately we experienced neither with JW. Not only did they lie to us about sending in an experienced crew, they hired family members who were not even remotely trained in the trade. I can’t even begin to explain the mess they left in our home. The entire upstairs was completely covered in drywall dust. Brand new leather couches, electronics, kitchen appliances, our beds which had to be moved upstairs while the bedrooms downstairs are being renovated all completely covered in drywall without any attempt to clean or cover anything. My husband and I spent two days cleaning up after them and then covering and hanging plastic to help prevent the mess from happening again since they had to come back to fix areas that either weren’t done, or were not done correctly. Even after we gave them the opportunity to come back two more times they still were not able to complete the job. I have so many pictures of areas that they didn’t even sand and that look like a toddler could have done the work. My husband and I have had to do majority of the renovations ourselves due to lack of money from the insurance company. And now we just wasted $3000 for a contractor to waste our time and money on a project we will have to now do ourselves. I’m literally sick to my stomach over the entire experience. I will NEVER recommend JW in fact I will do the opposite and tell everyone I know to not let them step foot in your home.
