K&a Carpentry

In our initial contact with Ivon from K&A Carpentry, we set an appointment and he got back to us quickly. His quote was the best we had received so we decided to hire him. Ivon and his team executed a beautiful 1000 total sq ft addition off the back of our California style raised ranch. The upper bedroom of the addition included adding a large master bedroom suite with a bathroom w/ steam shower, and hardwood floors and tied it in to the original master bedroom space converting the old master bedroom to a walk in closet and laundry room. The lower level included creating a multipurpose area with separate entry and walk out patio, kitchenette, full bath w/ laundry space and tie that in to the old space through the original laundry room half bathroom which involved moving the half bath into the new addition and converting the old laundry area to a mudroom with sink and cabinets. We are so pleased with how well Ivon and his team executed to our architectural plans and their quality of work. The construction from excavation to finished paint took approximately 5 months. With another couple weeks to wrap up final inspections.

Ivon and his crew did a terrific job on a series of complex projects between our office and garage, including adding new doors, adding a new closet, adding a pass through and steps. The carpentry work is meticulous And he was able to bring his own guys to plaster, paint, handle the electricity, etc. The crew worked from early morning until after dinner and completed the project in about a week, which was much faster than we expected. They also sealed off the entire area where they were working on to prevent contamination between the working crew and the household, which we really appreciated. Total professional, high quality work, fair price. I would absolutely use Ivon again.

We had our whole front porch demolished and completely rebuilt. Have to say they did a beautiful job. The two men were hard workers getting things done. They were there everyday from 8:00 till usually 6:00. We have been getting complements from neighbors about how good it looks. The only complaint I have is they didn’t communicate well. They would go a week without coming and no calls on when they would be back. I would have to email or text Ivon on when they were coming back. The whole job took about 3 months. Again a beautiful job if your not in a hurry to get a project done I would recommend them.

It was a great experience. His employees and himself were very professional. They cleaned up at the end of the day. When the weather finally cooperated they were on the job and finished in 2 days. I would recommend great job

K&A built a two room addition on my house and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Ivon is very easy going and pleasant and all his crew, as well as trade subcontractors, were hard-working, skilled, respectful and pleasant people. The bid was very reasonable compared to other bids with no compromise on quality. I would heartily recommend Ivon.

I cant say enough how pleased I am with K&a Carpentry. I was a little hesitant because this was the first buildzoom job so no buildzoom references but they were excellent! They were here everyday at 8am and finished around 5 each day. Worked incredibly hard. Ivon the owner was extremely easy to work with and was really good at getting back to me very quickly with any questions I had. They built a deck and installed a sliding glass door. It looks fantastic!! And his bid was so reasonable compared to others. It was great value. I would highly recomend them and will use them again in the future. You will not go wrong if you hire them!!!
