  Paint kitchen cabinets and entire downstairs of home

  Warning! Warning! Beware! predatory tactics and false advertising. My deposit was kept, and only part of the job was completed. My kitchen cabinets were painted, but the agreement was to paint the kitchen cabinets and the whole downstairs. Kyle stated my cabinets would be complete in 3 days; instead, they were done poorly in 8 days. This is a one-man show. If I had known he worked alone, I would have never hired him. He sanded the cabinets inside my kitchen on my laminate floors without protecting them, and he also failed to isolate my kitchen properly when sanding and spraying. I had cabinet and paint dust throughout my house. He will use the materials he wants to use, not the materials requested or agreed upon. My kitchen cabinets are the brown ones posted on Yelp and Facebook. I was blocked from Facebook and cannot comment on my own pictures. This is false advertising. The pictures posted are taken from a distance and fail to show the actual outcome of the job. My cabinet doors were painted only on one side, not properly sanded, and there were drip marks on my island and mud area. The previous paint was visible. Numerous dents and chips were not sanded or filled. After this horrible job was completed, I was sent a bill for kitchen cabinet painting, sanding, and using a ladder. My new painter stated he did not paint the previous white cabinets but was charging me for it. Also, what kind of professional charges for using a ladder? Be careful; do not give a deposit. He will add extra ridiculous charges afterwards. Working with this person was a nightmare. I had to hire a real professional painter who did not require a deposit. The new painter was appalled by the poor job quality. I am attaching pictures of the job I was left with.
