Kaf Painting & Powerwashing Kevin Frank T/A

TERRIBLE, I have not given any stars because he DOES NOT even deserve one star....Kevin gets a zero!! I hired Kevin to paint the entire inside of my house and gave him a $2000.00 down payment. He was suppose to paint the back end of the house first which was all the bedrooms and two bathrooms. I also, added on to put up all the molding back there and crown molding in the master bedroom. There is way to many things to write what went wrong with hiring him and his workers. I will give one example....he left one of his workers here to start fixing up any thing that had to be fixed on the ceiling in the foyer. Not sure if the man he left was even a professional painter, but this man put his cell phone light on to see the ceiling, instead of using a floor lamp. Needless to say he did not do a good job fixing up and did a horrible job painting it. There is so many other things that was not done right and was not done at all. The main thing is not only did I give him a deposit of $2000.00 but I also gave him another payment of $2500.00!!! He was suppose to come back to my house 5 days later to finish putting up molding, fix whatever was wrong with what he had already done, which was very little, and also still paint a lot. Both my husband and I have called him numerous times and have left messages. As of today he has not showed up or called us back. I have been to the police station and reported him and will be going to small claims court. DO NOT Use KEVIN!!!! He took $4500.00 from us and never finished the job!!! I had to put one star because it wouldn't let me submit my review without it. But he still gets a zero from us!!!

TERRIBLE! This contractor is definitely NOT highly rated. Kevin (KAF) did shoddy workmanship and poor quality job of replacing 3 sets of steps and repairs to front door last September. One set of steps was slanting and the wood in the others were badly installed or were cracked. Kevin demanded full payment for all new materials and labor and I paid him in full on 09/13/2016. He promised to return to correct the problems and poor quality work but never came. Then he texted me that he will come in 3 weeks but still no sight of him. I contacted him again in Oct 2016 to report my dissatisfaction of the repairs and this time he blamed his worker. He texted me 10/26/2016 that he will “stain the steps and paint door this week" and that the wood needed time to dry. Again, he never turned up to do the job. On 02/15/2017, he texted me that he will paint the front door and repair the steps within 30 days. AGAIN, after I waited yet another 90 days as of 05/16/2017, there was no sight of him and no repairs were completed. He also promised to replace two (2) Fascia plate pieces that has not been done. These were included in the payment already made. KAF collected full payment but did not complete the repairs in a timely manner as per the terms of the contract, made empty promises always dragging the time out. I have asked for a refund so I can find another contractor to complete the job but he has not responded or sent the refund. Hire this contractor at your own risk. Better still hire a contractor who has a better track record with real customers.
