Here is my experience with Kalko.
In July 2023, I hired Kalko to pour my back patio and shed pad for a total of $6000.
Unfortunately, less than a year later, the surface of my patio is showing extensive chipping. This is despite the fact that the shed pad, poured at the same time, remains intact. When I contacted Kalko to address this issue, I was met with a complete lack of customer service and accountability.
Despite multiple attempts to reach out via email, phone, and social media, I received minimal communication and no resolution. When a representative finally did visit my property, they showed up unannounced and came onto my property while I was not home.
To my further disappointment, Kalko blamed the chipping on weather conditions, ice melt, and fertilizer. They refused to take responsibility for their poor workmanship and offered no solutions other than recommending a concrete sealer. This is a clear indication that they are not willing to stand behind their work.
I have since obtained quotes from other concrete companies, all of which have confirmed that the chipping is due to poor workmanship. Additionally, they have pointed out that the shed pad is also likely to develop issues in the future.
I strongly advise anyone considering Kalko Concreate to look elsewhere. Their lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability make them an unreliable choice for any concrete project.
