Tom Hathcox stole our entire deposit and now refuses to give it back after we canceled the contract before any work was ever done! DO NOT use Kalvin’s Pools and Spas. If you know anyone in the Lakeshore Estates area of Slidell pass this along because he does work in that subdivision. I’m glad to see they just changed their name back to Kalvin’s Pools on this website. (Actually they are still trying to hide bc their name is Kalvin’s Pools and Spas....this says Pool and Spas....plus still has a fake name in Ohio!) No doubt it was a reaction to a recent review I gave of them on a different website spelling out how they changed their name on this site to David’s Pools and Spas to hide their poor reviews. (I have a snap shot picture to prove it). This is fraud and will be bringing this to the District Attorney for review along with falsifying documentation on the contract we signed. They will decide if additional criminal charges will be filed against this company. It’s a shame they can steal from people and will get away with it.

Beware of this contractor!! The owner, Tom Hathcox, did not follow our written contract, eliminating critical items just to cut corners. This caused my entire project to fail. Then he basically left the collapsed mess for me to deal with!! Worked on job for over 9 months!! Should have taken a month to finish max!! Constant lies from Tom Hathcox throughout the job! I told him I will have to sue him for this mess and he told me, go ahead, I’m broke. I am now suing him and his company in court. Stay away from this company!!!!

Such an unprofessional company and a liar. They didn’t build according to the proposal and contract. Nothing that was promised was ever done on time: it was a renovation pool. Tom Hathcox promised to finish the job in three to four weeks. It’s been four months now, job is not finished, and he is not responding to the calls or messages. Never met anyone so inconsiderate. Even one star rating is too much.
