DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR!!! I am currently in a contract with this contractor and my family and I are having trouble getting him to return to complete the work he started. He charged us $250 to install windows. We had 13 windows to be installed. Most of those windows were installed crooked. He didn’t remove the old window frames on the outside and he didn’t caulk it. This means the wood is not protected. He claimed that was how it had to be but we were able to find someone to fix one to show him that it wasn’t. He responded that he doesn’t know how to fix it and that he wouldn’t be refunding the payment we made for the installation. We are also being told by the window specialist we hired that he cut the windows because he ordered them too exact and we would have to repurchase those windows if we want to fix the mistakes he made. He was initially hired to remodel a kitchen. He has not completed that either. Now we can’t get him to give us a date as to when he’ll be returning to finish the work. He has already received a little over 90% of the payment for the kitchen job and was paid in full for the windows. This was our first home and we feel like he took advantage of us as new homeowners.
