We had a horrible experience with Nick Karaszewski. He started building our home in Boyne city (2,200 sq ft) in October of 2023 with a projected completion date of beginning of July 2024. It is now Oct 28, 2024 and it is still not done. The worst part thought is that he made us pay for our house in full (final payment) may 31, 2024, stating that if we didn’t pay him, he would take his crew and walk off the job.. He refuses now to respond to our emails and texts. At this point we just want to get occupancy and be done with him. We will pay for someone else to finish the job. Please beware of him. Nice guy, but is very, dishonest and his standard comeback when asked for completion date is, “the house will be done next week”. FYI: His work partner, Chris Loper, walked off the job too without finishing up our tile work in the house.
