Kay Builders

Very bad. They put roof shingles in Laurel field community in Allentown which cannot take 60 mile wind. Every twice a year, the whole community or most of them, clean up shingles from the sidewalks and around the townhomes and spend large amounts in restoring. Moreover, since these are townhomes, all homeowners dont get impacted at the same time, so the entire roof is never replaced. Kay is construction company which has no empathy for homeowners who are their customers. They lack work ethic to solve the issues as they just refer to the 1 year warrantee. Their roof company maintains a list of customers who they difficult to manage. They will never return your phone or email. If it is Kay, turn around and start running.

DO NOT BUY FROM KAY BUILDERS!!!
What an absolutely horrible builder!! No communication, unfinished house, flat out lies on completion time, terrible experience. Can't wait to tell everyone that I come across to avoid this builder like the plague, unless of course they want a house that is MONTHS past the completion date, and additional months of paying rent. Just a disgrace. Maybe on a big sign right near the entrance to their communities...
And if you post anything negative in regards to the actual experience with them on their Facebook...they delete the comment, and block you so you can't warn others about what a disastrous ordeal they could potentially have. Nothing says "Guilty as charged" on the lousy experience, like quick deleting and blocking of anyone speaking out about poor business practices. RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION.
BUYER BEWARE.

Worst customer service in US = Kay Builders

There is no transparency in the company. They are asking me to approach Warranty company to get my floor fixed that they are not capable of fixing/replacing in last 18 months but on the other hand their sub contractor contacts about repair schedule.

I gave a similar review (on their invitation) on Birdeye.com and guess what? They did not publish it. Someone in this company is shielding others from the truth. Would I want to be a customer of such unethical company? Never ever again and same advice to everyone.

If I were given an option, I would give them NEGATIVE STAR RATING.

Would like to thank Dave for coming to work at Lockridge. He is a very honest foreman,when he tell you he is going to do something he follows through.We had a issue where the water was just laying between the lots Dave said he was going to take care of it and he did.He also replaced the banister he said it would be done by the end of the week and it was done.
I have heard nothing but good things from the neighbors. Just wanted to say Thank you for keeping your word.

We have been generally very pleased with our interactions with Kay Builders and especially the sales team. The only issue we had was due to delays in delivery of the home, which we understand often can't be avoided. However, it is clear to us that Kay Builders made the additional effort to expedite delivery when we made our circumstances clear.

Poor quality construction and lacking customer service warrants 1 star. They throw up these houses overnight and they lack quality workmanship. Roof leaks. Feel like I am living in a tenement. Hope I am able to sell this piece of junk.

Brought a new home. Told the home was ready, and we could close a week early. Then we had dots everywhere they needed to fix. Had issues getting them repaired. Lost about three days of work for repairs. Our back yard was filled with bean plants and no grass because they planted it and never watered. The sound quality between town-homes are poor. Lived in apartments with better soundproofing. They told they would fix it for $2250 to add extra sound proofing to one wall in our smallest room. We have drafts in one bedroom where the wall meets the floor. During the winter they where responsible for the plowing of the roads and there company would not show up till the end of the storm on so many times.

Don't buy from kay builders. They have the worse customer service and the build cheap homes.
