We've been so impressed by Kay Construction throughout the entire process of our renovation. We hired them to merge our small dining space with the dining space on our porch, to make one large dining room to hold all of our friends and family. Our project involved some engineering and creative problem solving, as we were removing a load-bearing wall. Steve and Trey listened to all of our concerns and answered all of our questions, and we had a ton of questions!
Once the remodel got started I was pleasantly surprised with how clean they ran the construction site. At the end of each day, they cleaned up, vacuumed and even ran a magnet across our backyard to pick up any construction debris. We really appreciated this, as we work from home and have small children, so we had to truly live in the construction area. Plus, I didn't have to worry about the kids stepping on something and getting hurt.
One of my favorite parts of the build was the communication. We were on a group text and were kept up to date on when they'd be arriving, what would be getting done, etc. They always showed up when they said they would, and if they were delayed by another job, they were quick to let us know.
I highly recommend Kay Construction for any project. We are excited to have found such a great, reliable and honest contractor who we can trust. And we are IN LOVE with our new space. It turned out beautiful!
