Most installations such as sump pumps we may be able to price out over the phone. However, we prefer to be able to come out and look a the project before providing any estimates. Many times there will not be a sump pump or pit in a basement and we must add one by breaking up the concrete. This is done is a lot of older homes before sump pumps were common.
If you have a finished basement you should consider having both a sump pump and a backup sump pump. Backup sump pumps are available in a variety of models and functions. Water powered backup sump pumps and battery powered backup sump pumps are both commonly used by our plumbers. We can make the right recommendation based on the needs of your house.
