Just read the reviews... terrible builder and terrible ethics. I bought my home and 6 months into living there there was a roof leak, less than a year there was an appliance leak that caused two months of complete tear out of the kitchen floor, the retaining wall was not retaining and allowing water to overflow in an area that was causing soil erosion in my back yard, now after their warranty is expired...the same spot is leaking from the roof and has now spread to two rooms. There excuse is that I signed off it was complete and repaired? As if I inspected it and know about roofing- the worker said he was done so I signed it. Now I have to use my homeowners insurance and turn around and sue them to get this rectified. Do yourself a favor, if your reading the reviews just don’t buy their trash homes and crap quality workmanship.

we purchase our home in Oct of 2019 and we had out touch up paint completed in September of 2020. living room crown molding is cracking again and all of the seams on the rest of the crown molding in my house is cracked. There is a noticeable amp in my wood floor that has been there since I moved in but I was told it was pithing specs. All of the outside painting touchup have failed again. Back porch concrete has cracks running across and has caused my outside wall to crack. I was told it was in specs as well. I have to say it but this has been the worst purchase I could have made.

These are the worst builders ever. My foundation is cracking after being underpinned twice. They do false advertising. The walls are crooked. The roof is leaking and my house is just over 5 years old. If I could do no stars that would be too much. Buyers beware! Also thy go under three names so that you will not know who to sue. The new home we purchased in December 2017 has had many issues-one issue being the cracks in the caulking and painting on all of the outside windows and doors.
As per the Home Warranty Issues for a new home purchased from D&K Grant Homes-the problem was entered into their on-line form.
This is the response I received from the Warranty person from K&D Grant Homes:*‘The doors and caulking are all covered under our 1 year s-rock, caulk, and paint, t-ups warranty service.
We can go ahead and set that service now if you'd like? But, I always suggest to all my Homeowners to wait as late in the year as possible to set that service to get the most out of it. Once the one year t-ups are complete there are no more courtesy services provided for s-rock, caulk, and paint.’*My response to the Warranty person at D&K Homes: ‘If the workmanship on the outside windows and doors had correctly when the house was being built then we would not have to be fixing the problems now. Therefore, this is not a ‘courtesy’ service to rectify poor work on a new home. If the repair work is not completed in a satisfactory manner, then the repairs will have to be on-going until it’s done correctly’.

My husband and I just closed on our home in January 2021; and we have had an amazing experience. Both of us were homeowners previously - and I had a new home in Horn Lake MS - so I was aware of all the little nuances that happen inside a new home.
Grant New Homes has been EXCELLENT in responding to our needs. We are always able to talk with Aaron Clolinger and Benji Gabraith have both been responsive and helpful through EVERYTHING. We love our new home and would HIGHLY recommend Grant New Homes to those looking to build! Come to Gwin Farms!! YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE!!
