I called Kellan about a loud rattling/grinding noise in the garbage disposal. He could have just set an appointment and made some quick money, but instead he took the time over the phone to first give me tips I could try on my own. The tips worked, and he never even needed to come over.
Separately, the hourly labor rate he quoted me was the lowest of at least 3 or 4 plumbing shops in the Hillsboro area where I asked.
