Kelly and sons flooring and tile

Do not hire! These people are criminals plain and simple. They tried to shake us down BEFORE any of the work was completed, and when we finally got tired of the extortion and their intimidation tactics didn’t work, they placed a frivolous lien on our house. Halariously, when all evidence was presented to the lawyers, we were freed. These people have multiple pending L&I infractions with more coming. Thus far, they have placed a frivolous lien which now overturned, lied about materials prices, lied about payments made, used intimidation tactics and extortion, vandalized our property. They are not licensed as general contractors, they have no insurance anymore and yet they still try to pray on kind-hearted people looking for a reasonable contractor. There are many more victims of Trudi Maybury and Bill Kelly, and they should not be afraid to come forward in order to stop these charlotons

Did great installing new shower in my bathroom. They worked with my schedule, and when i reviewed security footage, they were just as professional! I loved them and there work, and would call them back in a heartbeat!

My experience was different, i paid a little more than quoted, but job changed a little as i had them install more flooring. Were they super fast, nope, are the results good, NO they're GREAT! I loved bill, he took time and installed with care. I would definitely call them again!!

I hired Kelly and Son's for a shower remodel. They consistently didn't show up on time. Trudi would tell me Bill was on his way and he'd show up 4 to 6 hours later, if he showed up at all. They had an excuse for everything. They constantly told me my job cost way more than what I paid even though we agreed on a price initially as an excuse for their behavior. 42 days after the job started I had enough. The job isn't finished and my bathroom is a mess. They boast about handmade shelves that were a piece of 40 cent tile cut in half and sandwiched together. They aren't sealed correctly to the wall... there's huge gaps where the grout was never finished. There are spacers left hanging out of the grout. The cut outs look like he chipped away at them instead of cutting the tile. This shower looks nothing like the posted pic by Kelly and Son's. That picture was taken when Trudi came to grout (and clogged my sink by putting grout in it.. then insulting my intelligence by telling me it was soap scum). There is dry grout all over the tile. My pictures show the disaster that took place. I had 3 contractors come out to look at the job to see what could be done and all 3 said it had to be removed and completely redone. Additionally, after I posted an honest review here about my experience, I was bombarded with text messages that aimed at intimidating me so that I would remove the review. This has been the worst experience. I would recommend this company to no one.

Do NOT hire them. They play to your sympathy to give them money advancement. They then try to get more work when initial project is not done. They fail to show up after we pay them. Instead of focusing on getting the work done, they focus on asking for more money and complaint they are not getting pay enough when we have a clear contract and payment schedule with them. We caught Bill sleeping on the job twice. Trudy will then say she is sick that’s why she cannot work. They ask for help with cash so they can hire helper. At the end they took our money, and even took materials we paid for without finishing the job. They will be super nice in the beginning and when we don’t give them more work (as we want them to finish the agreed upon contract first), they became rude, nasty and just keep saying they are not getting paid enough despite we have a contract. I agree with prior reviewer that they will take your money and not finish the job. They will ask you for cash advance promising to finish the work but once we give them cash, they do not show up to work. We will be taking them to court.

NOTHING WENT WRONG! I had Miss Trudi come out and do a bid for hardwood flooring install and also tile set in 2 bathrooms. The bid was done ( in which I accepted it) Trudi was very professional and was very knowledgeable in the job she was accepting. Trudi, Bill and I met the next day at home depot and I purchased the materials needed to do the complete job. I never had any problems with either Trudi or Bill and the job was completed and to my satisfaction. I will not hesitate to call on them again should I need more things done. Would highly recommend

Do not work with these people. They are just starting. He knows nothing. He was watching a YouTube video on how to do it AT MY HOUSE!!! I tried to save some money by using these guys. MISTAKE, get someone who knows what they are doing. it will be better in the long run. I will have to go to small claims as well. I wish I had seen the other review before having them come in. I will second the incompetent work and un professionalism. They have been threating me and my family and belongings as well because they feel I owe them more than the original bid. I filled a police report, there is a criminal history on both as well. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!

In working with Kelly and sons (trudi & bill) I find them difficult to work with. They would not return calls or communicate with us. I paid them for professional work and what I received was sub par not completed and they showed very little care as to the fact it pushed our deadline out. Once we paid them they did not show back up to the job for several days and during that time all they did was argue and debate. We paid them for work they did not do and now they aren't willing to give our money back after repeated attempts to collect. Trudi agreed to pay us back what we are owed. Leaving them a fair amount for their incompetent work and unprofessionalism- so it is off to the court of Municipal court of Tacoma to file small claims against them. They didn't want to work with us to resolve this issue.
