I started in plumbing in 1988, then after becoming a journeyman I learned framing, next electrical, followed by tile and finish carpentry. While fully licensed to build homes, I continue to take classes to keep up and sharpen my skills in areas such as EPA-RRP . All this is to give my customers the best I can offer them. I have worked in Dixon building a solid reputation for good work at a fair price over the years, 2013 I made my company official by obtaining my general builder contractors license. My quality of work has not changed but the size of projects has. I work hand and hand with Schmidt's cabinets also located in Dixon to bring my customers an amazing product that also includes high quality custom cabinets. Ask about me at the local Dixon Hardware and lumber. They have blessed me with many referrals. including my first government contract. I am a member of Dixon Chamber of Commerce

Nixon Construction delivers, and then some. Highly skilled workmen who are easy to work with and who turn in quality work. I really appreciate an "honest estimate." K. Nixon goes out of his way from the start to accurately assess the scope of the work needed, so there are as few surprises/change orders as possible. The last job he did for me was a total-rehab-down-to-the-studs-rebuild. The permits were held up four weeks so the start date was pushed back. Any other contractor would have offered me apologies and taken another job. K. Nixon is committed. A four week late start and the job was still finished on original schedule. Honest, skilled, a total professional. I highly recommend Kelly Nixon Construction.
